Many ferry terminals have convenient connecting bus services which will get you to and from the ferry terminal in time for sailing:
Bayswater
The ferry wharf is at the end of Norwood Road. The bus routes which will take you to the wharf are:
803, 804 - These buses run from Takapuna to the wharf to connect with ferry arrivals and departures. The buses run via Milford, Smales Farm and North Shore Hospital.

Birkenhead
The ferry wharf is at the end of Hinemoa Street. The bus routes that will take you to and from the wharf are:
961, 960 - These buses run from Waipa Street to the wharf to connect with ferry arrivals and departures. The buses run via Chatswood, Northcote Point, Highbury Shops and Maritime Terrace.

Devonport
The ferry terminal in Devonport is right at the end of Victoria Road and is a big building so you can't miss it! Parking at the Devonport wharf can be limited during the week. The bus routes that will take you to and from the wharf are:
813 - This bus runs from Takapuna to the wharf to connect with ferry arrivals and departures. It departs from Takapuna Transport Centre (Stop 1) and travels via Lake Road, Old Lake Road, Vauxhall Road, Albert Road then Victoria Road to the Devonport Wharf.
To get from Devonport Wharf to Takapuna, the route is reversed.
815 - This bus runs from Belmont to the wharf to connect with ferry arrivals and departures. It departs Seacliffe Avenue near Westwell Road and travels via Montgomery Avenue, Wicklow Road, Old Lake Road, Lake Road, Kawerau Avenue, Regent Street, Aramoana Avenue, Wesley Street, Ngatarianga Road, Lake Road, Memorial Drive and Victoria Road to the wharf.
To get from Devonport Wharf to Westwell Road, the route is reversed.
779 - This bus departs from the wharf and travels via King Edward Parade, Cheltenham Road, Tainui Road, Vauxhall Road, Church Street and King Edward Parade to Devonport Wharf.
The bus then continues via Victoria Road, Calliope Road, and Victoria Road back to the wharf.

Half Moon Bay
The ferry wharf is at the end of Ara Tai Place (Pigeon Mountain Road turns into this). The bus routes that will take you to and from the wharf are:
52 - (Selected services only, please check the timetable) This bus runs from Clovelly Road, Musick Point Road, The Parade, Eastern Beach Road, Bucklands Beach Road, Priestly Drive, Causarina Road, Pigeon Mountain Road and Ara Tai Place to the wharf.
54 - (Selected services only, please check the timetable) This bus runs from Clovelly Road, Musick Point Road, The Parade, Eastern Beach Road, Bucklands Beach Road, Priestly Drive, Sunderlands Road and Ara Tai Place to the wharf.
To get from the wharf to Eastern Beach and Bucklands Beach, the route is reversed.
660, 661 - These buses run in a loop from the Botany Town Centre to Farm Cove and on to the Half Moon Bay wharf. They run along Sunderlands Road, Priestly Drive, Bleakhouse Road, Cook Street, Paparoa Road, Meadowland Drive, Chapel Drive, Te Rakau Drive, Burnswood Drive, Gossamer Road, Glenmore Road, Butley Drive and Prince Regent Drive.

Northcote Point
The ferry wharf is at the end of Queen Street, you can't miss it! The bus route that will take you to and from the wharf is:
960 - This bus runs from the Birkenhead Wharf along Hinemoa Street, Onewa Road, Rodney Road to Queen Street and Northcote Point Wharf.

Stanley Bay
The ferry wharf is right by the Calliope Reserve and can be accessed via Calliope Road. The bus route that will take you to and from the wharf is:
779 - This bus runs in a loop, it departs from Devonport Wharf and travels via King Edward Parade, Cheltenham Road, Tainui Road, Vauxhall Road, Church Street and King Edward Parade to Devonport Wharf. It continues along Victoria Road, Calliope Road to Stanley Point.
The bus then continues via Victoria Road, Calliope Road, and Victoria Road back to the Devonport Wharf.
