Train services are FREE* from 3 hours prior to kick-off, until the end of service. Additional services will operate to Kingsland Station.

Trains depart Britomart for Eden Park approximately every 15 minutes after 4.30pm.

Passengers are reminded that alcohol is not permitted for consumption on any of these public transport services.

All services are funded by Auckland Transport, the Blues and Eden Park.

Special event  buses are FREE* to Eden Park from Auckland City Centre, Northern Busway stations, Takapuna, Manukau, Pakuranga, Botany, Newmarket, and Mt Eden.

Ferry

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is next to the Britomart Transport Centre in Downtown Auckland. This means ferry passengers can easily change to a train for transport to matches.

Normal timetables and fares/passes apply for ferry services.

*TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • FREE travel applies only to special event bus services and all trains services to and from Eden Park on Blues Investec Super Rugby game days in 2012.
  • FREE bus travel in ONLY available on special event bus services.
  • FREE travel on trains starts from 3 hours prior to kick-off and until the last train on Blues game days in 2012.
  • FREE travel on special event bus services starts from approximately 3 hours prior to kick-off until no later than 1 hour after final whistle.
  • To ride for free on specified bus and train services you must show your pre-purchased game ticket or applicable Eden Park membership card entitling you to entry to the relevant Investec Super Rugby game. Ticket receipts are not acceptable.
  • Ticketsor an applicable Eden Park membership card must be retained to show for return travel after the game, otherwise normal fares will apply.
  • If you do not show your valid match ticket or membership pass normal fares apply for  train services. The following fares (each way) apply for special event bus services to Eden Park: Takapuna $5, North Shore via Northern Busway stations $5, Auckland City Centre $3, Manukau/Botany/Pakuranga $5, Newmarket/Mt Eden $2 As these are special event services No passes or concessions apply.
  • While all effort has been made to cater for expected demand on trains and special event buses, space on these services is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Passengers will be boarded on a first come first served basis.
  • Auckland Transport accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to the provision of these services, including, but not limited to, any liability in relation to any delay of, or failure to provide, any services.
  • Travel on ferries or buses other than special event bus services is NOT FREE on match days.
