There are several ways you can take public transport to and from Auckland Airport. All of the services stop at both the Domestic and International airport terminals.

The Airbus Express is a direct bus service from the city centre to the airport. Buses run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and up to every 15 minutes during the day. They run every 20-30 minutes off peak between 7.15pm - 7.00am.
The bus starts from its dedicated bus stop at the Auckland Ferry Terminal next to the Britomart Transport Centre, Quay Street. This makes it easy to catch the bus if you have arrived at Britomart by bus, train or ferry. The bus runs along Queen Street making it convenient if you are staying at central hotels and hostels. It also stops at Mt Eden Railway Station on the Western Line; just follow the blue Airbus Express signs.
Buses to and from the airport alternate travel between Mt Eden Rd and Dominion Rd. Travel time between the city and airport takes between 45 minutes and an hour. Please allow extra time for travel during peak times.

With the Northern Flyer ticket you can travel from the North Shore to the Airport. The Northern Express bus service connects with the Airbus Express at the downtown ferry terminal to make it easy to get from the airport to the North Shore and back.
Tickets are available from the bus driver, the Northern Busway ticket machines or the ticket machine at the international terminal. Prices start from $30 return for an Adult

The 380 Airporter runs from Manukau City Centre via Papatoetoe train Station to the Auckland Airport Retail Centre. Buses run 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and up to every 30 minutes during the day. Manukau - Airport: First bus 4.15am, last bus 10.45pm Airport - Manukau: First bus 5.00am, last bus 11.30pm
If you are travelling on a Naked Bus, Intercity or Newmans service, you can also catch the 380 to the airport from Manukau City Centre where there is a connection point.
Tickets are available from the bus driver. From Manukau City Centre to the airport the fare is $4.50 one way for an adult.
Naked Bus passengers can buy tickets online for their journey to the Airport - visit www.nakedbus.com to book.
Intercity bus passengers can also buy tickets online for their journey to the Airport - visit www.intercity.co.nz to book.
It takes approximately 25-40 minutes to get from Manukau City to airport using this service (traffic depending).
Train-Bus Connection to Auckland Airport (via Papatoetoe Train Station)
You can catch a train from anywhere along the Southern or Eastern Lines and connect at Papatoetoe Train Station with the 380 Airporter bus to the airport. From Papatoetoe to the airport it takes around 25 minutes travelling time - please factor in any connection time when you plan your journey.

Bus tickets are available from the bus driver. Train tickets and passes are available from the Britomart ticket kiosk, at local ticket agents and from staff on the train. Prices start from $1.40 one way for an Adult on the train. From Papatoetoe Train Station to the Airport the bus fare is $3.20.
Botany Town Centre to Auckland Airport
Route 375 is a Monday to Friday service that operates between Botany Town Centre and the Auckland Airport. Buses operate every 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon peak and every hour off peak. Botany to Airport: First bus 6.00am, last bus 6.00pm Airport to Botany: First bus 7.00am, last bus 6.00pm
The bus runs via Otara Town Centre (MIT campus), Hunters Corner, Middlemore Hospital, Mangere Town Centre and Ascot Industrial Park to the Auckland Airport Retail Centre. View timetable
It takes approximately 55 minutes to get from Botany Town Centre to the Airport using this service (traffic depending).
