Train Fares

Try the Journey Planner to the left to see how much your journey will cost and which type of ticket is the best deal for you. For example if you travel from Ellerslie Station to Britomart Station 4 days per week, a 10-ride ticket or monthly pass will be the better deal than a single ride ticket.

Below you'll find fares for Auckland's train operator, Veolia Transport Auckland. You do not need to buy a ticket before you get on, they can be purchased from on-board staff while you are travelling. Tickets can also be purchased at the Britomart Transport Centre in Lower Queen Street, or at nominated Ticket Agents.

For information on discounted travel, please see Fare Policies for Discounted Travel.
